Give it 100 - Day 1

So sad that I cannot seem to find 15 minutes in my day to exercise and take care of myself...  Anyhow, third time is the charm.  The point is to keep getting back on the horse!

Today, I did T25 Alpha Cardio.  I intended to start the series last week, but ended up missing Monday because it was a holiday, so I started on Tuesday, did Wednesday also, then nothing after that.

So today, I start again.  I am proud of myself!  I weighed in at 164.4, and if I do things right and lose a half a pound a week, I will be at or below 159 by Christmas and at or below 156 by the time I go to Japan in February.  January 26 will be day 100.

The difficult thing for me is being patient.  I expect immediate results, immediate weight loss, and immediate body tone like when I was in my 20's.  But reality is, I'm 42, Rome was not built in a day and this weight wasn't all gained in a day, nor was the muscle tone lost in a day.  So each day I intend to celebrate the little things.

Today, I WORKED OUT!  Yay me!!!!!  :-)

Day 1

It's Day 1 of the rest of my life...

I love this song by Matthew West.  With this in mind, today is day one of my commitment to 100 days of at least 15 minutes of exercise each day.  15 minutes is a small price to pay to be healthy and improve my quality of life.

Because I have been having issues with my right hip flexor, I chose to do T25 Alpha Cardio as my exercise.  I had no pain or issues with the exception of when doing the glute stretch on the right.  I'm headed to the doctor this morning to see if we can figure out what is wrong with my glute though, so hopefully I will be back to running soon.

Stats on Day 1:
Height: 5'8"
Weight: 162.2
Waist: 32.5 inches
Hips: 42.5 inches
Body Fat (according to scale): 30.1%
BMI: 24.9
